KANER's MJK series filter are made from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane material. The unique low protein adsorption property of PVDF makes MJK filters particularly suitable for filtration of culture media, biological reagents, sterile vaccines, and other applications. Additionally, the low extractables of PVDF make MJK filters ideal for filtering 18MΩ.cm Dl Water. The MJK series filters can also be modified to have a hydrophilic membrane, eliminating the need for pre-wetting and allowing direct filtration of polar aqueous solutions.
